Dr Shahi attended Tehran University of Medical Sciences and graduated in 2004. He obtained his Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of general Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2010. Apart from general practice, Dr Shahi is also a senior medical officer at Princess Alexandra hospital – Persistent Pain Management services.

With an experience of 11 years, Dr Shahi has developed special interest in chronic disease management including diabetes and painful musculoskeletal conditions, skin checks, skin cancer procedures, shave biopsy, as well as intra-articular, peri- articular and intralesional injections.

He is bilingual (English & Farsi) and is very fond of learning about new cultures.
